About OUr Shed Collections
Standard
“Standard” sheds are our “no-frills” storage shed collection. These sheds feature a lower roof slope, no roof overhangs, and basic doors and windows for the most affordable shed possible.
Classic
“Classic” sheds strike a balance between simplicity and beauty. Larger windows, upgraded doors, roof overhangs, and other feature additions take this storage shed collection to the next level.
Premier
“Premier” sheds are our most elite single-story buildings. These sheds feature our largest screened windows plus transom windows, upgraded door hardware, and a whole lot more.
Legacy
“Legacy” sheds are our two-story shed collection. These sheds offer the most space and flexibility of all our shed lines. With a full second level, the possibilities are virtually endless!
About our Shed Styles
Workshop Sheds
Our most popular shed, the Workshop style is the classic “A-frame” storage shed. The two equal roof slopes give this shed a “house-style” profile. Doors can be placed on the side or the end walls.
MaxiBarn Sheds
The MaxiBarn shed is a classic “barn-style” gambrel shed. The higher sidewalls allow the doors to be placed on the side or end walls of the shed. This style includes our “Gambrel” and “Dutch Barn” models.
Saltbox
Sheds
The “saltbox” roof style (originally from New England) adds some extra flair to this storage shed. Doors are placed on the front wall of the Saltbox shed, under an extra-wide overhang.
MiniBarn
Sheds
MiniBarn sheds are our most economical storage shed. A gambrel roof gives the MiniBarn shed a traditional “barn-style” look. The low roof makes this shed best suited for straightforward storage tasks.
Modern
Sheds
Designed with a more contemporary aesthetic, our Modern sheds are popular as offices and living spaces. The single slope roof and clean lines give this shed a sleek and sophisticated look.

Sheds by Material
Wooden Sheds
Our wooden sheds feature an engineered wood siding material known as SmartSide®. This highly durable shed siding gives advanced weather and impact protection, with the look of classic T1-11 paneling.
Vinyl Sheds
Our vinyl sheds use a beautiful Double 4” Dutch lap vinyl siding with a classic weathered wood grain texture. Easy to clean and virtually maintenance-free. Plus, vinyl storage sheds can be easily matched with existing home exteriors!
Clapboard Sheds
Our clapboard sheds use an engineered wood clapboard from the SmartSide® collection. The beautiful aesthetic of this shed siding is matched only by its durability and weather resistance. Clapboard shed exteriors are among our finest!
Other Materials
Depending on the shed type you select, we may be able to offer an additional range of materials. Our “rain-screen” and fiber cement clapboard exteriors are popular on modern sheds. Board-and-batten sheds are another classic style chosen by many of our clients.
Shed FAQs
So how does the process work?
Once you have used our website to decide on a style, size, and siding you can call us or submit an estimate request online. One of our sales staff will answer any additional questions that you might have and walk you through the order process. Our sales staff will make sure that the windows and doors are positioned at the right location to best meet your needs. They will also ask you for your color choices for the siding, trim, roofing, etc. Once you are ready to place the order we will need your deposit to finalize the order.
Can I choose the door and window locations?
Absolutely! Only if there is not enough space in the wall to fit the windows and/or doors will we need to recommend otherwise.
How are shipping charges calculated?
Our shipping cost is a mileage charged based off of the size and style of the building plus any shipping permits necessary. To get an estimated delivery cost, you can contact our office via phone or email. You can also submit an estimate request here.
What about site preparation?
As the customer, you are responsible for site preparation. If you prefer to prep the site yourself, make sure you follow our recommendations and guidelines.
If you prefer to have your site prepared professionally, we offer same-day shed foundation site preparations. We will take care of all the measuring, detailing, and labour in exact accordance to our quality site preparation standards.
How wide of an opening do I need to get a fully assembled shed into my backyard?
The answer can vary depending on the building type and overhangs. But in general, we need a space 2’ wider than the gable end of the shed. For example: We would need a 12’ wide opening to get a 10×16 shed through.
What are my payment options?
Upon placing the order for sheds or single car garages, we ask for a 30% deposit if the cost of the building is under $8,000.00 and 50% if the order is over $8,000.00. In addition, any building being delivered to New York City or Long Island, NY, requires a 50% deposit. The balance is due on delivery.
For two and three car garages, payments are as follows: 30% when the order is placed, 30% prior to beginning construction in our shop, then the final 40% when the building is assembled.

Do you offer Rent-To-Own?
We do not offer rent-to-own because we do not believe it is in the best interest of our customers. If you put the purchase on your credit card and make payments that way, you’ll often pay less than you would by using a rent-to-own option! Buying a shed via rent-to-own will typically cost you an extra 25% to 100%+ (more in this article). While renting a storage shed may seem to be a good option (based on the low monthly payments), we highly encourage you to consider what the shed will cost you in the long run.
How do I make the final payment at delivery?
Our driver and set up team will collect payment when your project is complete. Most of the delivery trucks have credit card processors on board and if you plan to pay cash or check the driver will pick that up upon completing your building.
What is the lead time? How soon can I have my shed?
Our lead time varies depending on the time of year and order volume. January, February, and March are typically our least busy months and when our lead time will usually be around the 2-4 week mark. As we get into the summer and fall months our lead time can stretch out to 10 weeks. Call us to get more exact lead times – we do our best to get you your building as soon as possible!
PS. Often we have a supply of in-stock and discounted buildings that are ready for an earlier shipment.

Our site is very steep, and I truly doubted they would be able to deliver our 12’ X 14’ shed. They committed to delivery after reviewing pictures of our narrow street and steep hillside yard. Nate is a master equipment operator. He had our shed sitting perfectly level on our pad about 30 minutes after arrival. I was amazed by what he could with their specialized equipment. I started this process of building a garage 2-3 years ago. I called local builders. Two of them never returned my calls, and one guy chewed me out for finding his number on the web and calling him without being referred by someone. I’m not kidding, this is how the building contractor experience is right now in New England. My web searches always turned up Sheds Unlimited and I saw that they had stories from folks in New England who had used them to build garages even though they are in Pennsylvania. I decided to go through the quote process. There was a similar shed & garage company closer to my home in New England so I got quotes from both of them for similar garages. The New England company quoted me a number that was 2 1/2 times higher than Sheds Unlimited quote. I decided to go with Sheds Unlimited. I worked with Sergey in sales over many emails on exactly what I wanted. There was never a moment when he seemed bothered or impatient by my questions and my changes. Everything was possible and everything had a clear dollar amount, the sale never felt rushed. I finally decided on a design and paid the deposit. The local permit process went smoothly with the plans I purchased from Sheds Unlimited. The process of getting a foundation and pad from a local contractor was probably the most difficult part of the process. Contractors that do concrete work, are used to working with builders, not private homeowners. But I found a guy and gave him the plan and I eventually got a nice pad and foundation. I told Michael from Sheds Unlimited the pad was ready and I expected to wait 10+ weeks since it was now summertime. I got the call only 5 weeks later from Gideon the project manager that they were ready. On the scheduled day Nathan and his crew of 3 young, hard working Amish carpenters arrived and discovered that my driveway was the worst-case scenario. They could not get their very long and heavy trailer up our driveway due to the tightness of the turn and narrowness of the driveway. So they had to unload everything from the trailer at the road to my build site which is about 900 feet from the public road. They dealt with local vehicle traffic, and unhelpful local police. The young crew had to run back and forth the 900 feet to walk alongside the forklift to make sure the preconstructed structural members did not swing into trees. Not once did they show any frustration or anger. Nathan was still positive and smiling when I talked with him about it later. So after all this arrival difficulty, when they finally starting constructing the garage, it went up incredibly fast. Every worker knew their part. There was no question about what they should be doing. They practically got the whole 2-story 2 car garage up in one day even after the delay from the driveway issues. They only stopped for the day when torrential rain finally started. They showed up at 5:30 AM the next day and finished the job. I can’t say enough great things about what I witnessed with this construction crew. Like I said, I have never seen anything like them in 26 years of hiring various contractors for home projects.

Our experience with ShedsUnlimited was the best experience we have ever had with a construction contractor. From the initial estimate through the final product, they were great to work with and went above and beyond on several things. When our local county had questions on the design for permitting, ShedsUnlimited worked directly with them, answering all their questions and moving the project forward. When the county decided (after the fact) that one window needed safety film added, ShedsUnlimited took care of that as well at no cost to us. The overall process went exactly as the website describes, and our 54×24 building was exactly as promised, with the efficient, friendly team completing the assembly in just 2 days! The materials and construction quality were excellent. A large, well-constructed building for significantly less money than a local contractor would charge! I highly recommend ShedsUnlimited for any size building project.
