After two years of renovating their new house, Camila, a self-appointed stripe aficionado and colorful interior designer, turned to her backyard.

Originally intended for extra yard tool storage, something new began to take shape! After deciding on a 10×14 shed, Camila realized the space could also be used as a room or, in her case, an art studio! 

While Camila worked closely with a Sheds Unlimited sales representative to finalize every detail of her new studio, her husband dug a trench in their backyard for electricity. Because of the shed’s size, they opted for a concrete foundation based on a recommendation from Sheds Unlimited. Once the foundation was ready, it was finally time for their custom shed to be delivered!

A Rainy Day Installation

Normally, for large enough backyards, Sheds Unlimited will deliver your new shed fully built. Because Camila’s home didn’t have a large enough opening, the shed arrived in pieces completely painted in her custom colors. 

It rained and rained and rained on installation day, but that didn’t stop Sheds Unlimited’s shed builders or Camila’s excitement! 

A few hours later, her shed was up, her yard was clean, and the fun could begin! 

Is it not perfection! My parents have already asked me to make it a bedroom and make it a grandparent pad for them!”

Just Add Color

For now, Camila and Jon turned it into a studio space. They added laminate flooring and painted the inside white. Then, Camila moved her artwork and painting supplies in!

With a little homework nook, so her children can join her while she paints and lots of artwork display space, there is room for everything Camila needs.
